Notes of Summer

Thursday, 30 October 2008 16:03

It was a long, busy, and nice summer. It all began with the Beat the Donkey Iowa tour. Then, still with Beat the Donkey, went to Quebec, Grassroots, Detroit, Italy, and even played in New York City! A nice reunion with Alain Nkossi Konda back in the States for little bit so we could pump the night at Zinc Bar twice. I played on a Synagogue with Dudu Fisher celebrating the 50th birthday of the State of Israel. Traveled with Rob Curto and his Sanfona Project to Detroit. Co-Arranged part of the record of the jazz-guitarist Joe Carter. Participated of numerous recording sessions. Didn't hike yet! Played with JoAnne Brackeen and Eddie Gomez; and DK Dyson; and Vento Trio. Started Forro Dodoi. Went to the beach plenty. And rejoined the beautiful Park Slope Food COOP.
I'm energized!
